Migration to Drupal-10 Coming

Its been a long time since I posted. You may wonder what takes so long between posts? Well, the truth is I've been fighting a big battle to migrate to Drupal-10. This website uses Drupal-7 which is now considered deprecated. In short, this website needs a new version of Drupal.

Now, Drupal-10 is way different from D7. Its better but has its own set of complications and needs. I've been wrestling with the fact that my current theme (the look and feel of this site) isn't available in D10. So I had to solve that and it wasn't easy. Plus Drupal has many moving parts and is incredibly flexible. When you make changes, there can be unexpected side-effects that eat lots of time (I mean LOTS of time).

My new implementation has upgrades to help RTM rank well in the Engines. And I do have more projects and content I want to publish. But, I'm waiting for the transition to be complete. One thing that's going away is this bulletin-board nobody uses but me. I'll have some blog pages on the new site and things will be similar -- only better.

If you're checking back and wondering what happened, now you know. Luckily I've had an AI Copilot to help me with all kinds of coding issues. I cannot believe how much AI has improved in just the last year. I suspect folks are finding AI so helpful, they don't need the social sites as much. Times are changing...
